AcrylView 6mm Stamp Mounts

Some stampers just prefer to use thinner acrylic for their unmounted stamps. Using thinner acrylic has some advantages over thicker mounts.

When you look through acrylic, light is diffracted. This can make alignment and placement difficult for people with farsighted vision.

Our thinner mounts are very inexpensive. At these prices you can afford to mount your often used, smaller stamps with our PermaMount cushion and still save at least 67% in storage space.

You can use any mounting method you are accustomed to with these thinner mounts.

Because these mounts are thinner, they are made smaller than thicker mounts can be made. The largest 6mm mount is only 3" x 4½" and the stamp should not be more than 2½" x 4". The largest 6mm mount can be covered by your palm and this insures that even pressure is applied during the stamping process.

We do not recommend that you use 6mm on larger stamps. The material is not thick enough to stop the mount from warping while making a stamp impression. If you're looking for thicker acrylic stamp mounts, browse our 12mm, 18mm, and 24mm stamp mounts. Many of our customers use more than one thickness!
