PFA & ECTFE Perfluoroalkoxy and Ethylene-chlorotrifluoroethylene

These two fluorocarbons have heat stability of 200 and 175 °C (392 and 347 F), respectively. Sufficient data have not been generated to date to determine precisely where they will fit into field service. Certainly the materials are reputed to have excellent properties as regards chemical stability, and above all, a working ease which should extend the use of the fluorocarbons even further than their current application in industry.
