Vacuum Chamber

This box was designed as a testing device for the smoke stacks at our local electric company.  This unit is constructed of 1½" clear acrylic and held together with stainless steel allen head screws.  A dado is machined into the front and back after assembly which a custom made o-ring was seated.  These removable faces allowed for cleaning the interior of the unit.  In use this unit has to withstand extreme vacuum pressure and the very thick acrylic does the trick.


Laboratory Furniture

Everything in this plating lab had to be made with chemical resistant and static resistant materials.  Virtually everything in this photo from tanks, sinks, pipes wall covers and doors is manufactured with white polypropylene. This material offers the chemical resistance required for their operations.





Field Testing Equipment

These patented measuring devices are called tension infiltrometers (patent #4884436).  Basically these devices measure a soil's absorption capabilities and Plastic Plus is the sole manufacturer for our customer.  If you are affiliated with a university, or in an industry that utilizes this equipment, we would be happy to refer you the the company that sells this line of equipment, just contact us.





Containment Carts

This cart body is built with HDPE and is designed to have cart wheels attached to it.  It is used to transport chemical containers where leakage or spillage is a hazard factor.  There is no hardware on this cart; every piece is welded into place in a fashion very similar to welding metals.






ESD Drying Chambers

This drying chamber is made with ESD (electrostatic dissipative) PC.  Circuit boards are temporarily stored on these shelves between manufacturing stages.  Inert gases are pumped through the drying chamber to help remove any moisture from the air.  These units are constructed with minimal hardware to help eliminate any possible static charges which could damage the circuitry.





Laboratory Testing Equipment

This product is called a goniometer used in the mining industry.  There are several sizes we produce with different sized holes to accept soil cores.  There is a 360° protractor printed on the bottom and 90° protractors on the sides.  There is an adjustable flap that is movable with the knurled knobs on the sides.  The walls are hollow so that the protractors could be printed on the inside, then hermetically sealed.  The printing on the bottom protractor is sandwiched in between two pieces of acrylic.  Get care was taken to insure that the printing was not scratched during use.
